Owner Randy VanderWerp started Rockford Floor Covering in 1981 in a small store front in Downtown Rockford. As a second generation in the industry, Randy first worked for his father’s flooring store, later became a wholesale representative, and then decided to go back to his passion, a flooring store. He has been growing with and serving the community even since. Randy has been a member of Rockford Chamber of Commerce since 1986. He has sponsored the Horse Drawn Carriages during Rockford’s Winter Festival, the Chili Cook-Off for Rockford’s Harvest Fest, and Rockford’s Start of Summer Celebration. Randy has also been an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau since 1986 and has a A+ Rating.
